I miss the oboe, I really do.  I played this piece for solo and ensemble festival during my senior year.  I remember liking this piece a lot because it was contemporary (essentially a lot more free and expressive than most oboe sonatas and concertos, written during the baroque and classical periods), and it had a random “spazz out” part at 2:26 that was fun to play when I was super angry. c:
